Michele and I would like to give our heartfelt condolances to the Ivory Family on the passing of your father.
I Just wanted to pass along one of my memories that I have of your Dad as we young kids..
Bill, Kevin, It's been 50 years since we first meet and as young kids growing up on Wainbrook Rd there were a few things that always stood to me out and one is the memory of your dad in his overalls with a work rag stuck in his back pocket working away under the hood of a car in the driveway.
He loved working on cars in fact I don't think there was a car built that your Dad didn't like to fix.
As I would come over and run up to your home I would say hello Mr Ivory, your Dad would pop up his head from under the hood of the car with a smile on his face he would and say hello Eddie how are you, and then he would alway say go on in the door is open.
That's the way I will always remember the Ivory home with your Dad and Mom always welcoming me and the rest of the kids in the neighborhood with an open door and a safe place to stay.
We always new if we needed anything the door would be open.
For that I will always be grateful.
Your Dad was a wonderful man who has now gone home to be with your Mom may he rest in peace.
