ROBERTSON, Kathleen (Kaye) Rose (née Tizzard) -
Peacefully at the age of 90 at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital on November 21, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents Saul Tizzard and Eliza (née Flynn), her husband Douglas, her brother Thomas Tizzard and wife Jean, and her sister Madeline and husband Robert Townsend. Kaye leaves behind a loving daughter, Sandee Robertson, a devoted son-in-law, Jim Deveau, and a cherished granddaughter, Brianna Robertson-East. She also leaves behind a son, Keith, a grandson, Kyle, and a large extended family that loved her as Aunt Kaye. She enjoyed the company of many dear friends. Kaye was a member of St. Mark's United Church in Whitby. She was also a member of the Whitby Seniors' Activity Centre. She enjoyed volunteering in many capacities throughout her life. In her senior years, she volunteered at the Whitby Library to teach children how to knit, and sang at Lakeridge Health Whitby to entertain patients. Kaye enjoyed spending time baking, knitting, reading, and corresponding through cards and letters. These are passions she passed down to her daughter and granddaughter.
