The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Allan Morrison can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I worked at McCallum Transport as a Driver, when Al worked in the Stock-room. I remember when needing any Truck supplies Al would always be there to sign out all of the Shop coats, and Coveralls. He seemed to always have the Items you needed to complete your job. My sincerest condolences to Family and Friends. Al was part of a great McCallum Trans.

Condolence From: Pat & Tom Adamson
Condolence: Pam,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. We have known him for so long-45 years! In our younger days he was like a 2nd father! So many memories-so many fiddle sessions, so many garden sessions, so many needlepoint sessions, so many cottage sessions at The Clansman Motel and Cottages (always a jigsaw puzzle for the week! We were always welcome at your parents home on Chestnut Street in Whitby-spent many sleepovers there! Please know we are thinking of you and your Dad today-as we are unable to attend the service. Even though he did not know us at the end-we will always remember him fondly and with much love in our hearts.
Love, Pat & Tom XO

Condolence From: John and Karen Cole
Condolence: Al and Irene were the greatest neighbours for many, many years. They welcomed us and loaned us tools when we arrived in '77. We'd share the odd drink and many and dirty joke across the fence. We shared recipes and excess produce from our gardens. Al was especially proud of his beautiful glads, and for a couple of years after he moved to Fairview, John raised some in memory. Never quite the big show that Al's were. We remember parties where he fiddled. I recall one summer corn roast not many years after we'd moved in, that he and his group sang a parody of "You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille." The Trudeaus had split up and it became Margaret, not Lucille; three hungry children and I'm losin' Quebec, etc. We can't be at the funeral as we're flying to the Azores tonight (Friday), but we're thinking of all of you and sympathize. We'll never forget Al and Irene. But we usually won the pea planting contest, just for the record. The prize was a bottle of wine from the loser!! Wonderful neighbours for nearly forty years.
