It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear John at the age of 88, on Sunday, September 30, 2018, surrounded by his devoted family. Reunited with his beloved wife, the late Elena Marcucci. Loving father of John (Lee), Rosanne (Andy) and Louisa (Larry). Proud Scio Scio of Melissa (Joey), Shawna (Mark), Michael, Michelle (Dean), Danielle (Chris), David (Hunter), Brent (Danielle) and great-grandfather of Avelina and Bennett. Dear brother of the late Emilio, Donato (Norina), the late Filomena (Angelo), Paolo (Giuseppina) and Angelina (Giovanni). He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Etobicoke General Hospital for their care and compassion during his stay. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.,) on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, 45 Ludstone Drive, Toronto, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1pm. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens.
