It is with great sadness that the family of Eileen announces her passing on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the age 81. Loving wife of John for 51 years. Beloved mother of Michelle (Harvey). Cherished Nanny of Logan (Shawn) and Nathalie and proud great-grandmother of Devyn. Survived by her sisters Marion, Irene, Priscilla, Sylvia, Dianne (Bill) and Barb (Mike). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Evelyn O’Leary and brothers Melvin, Jimmy, Ronald and Terry. Ruth will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews family and friends. We will forever cherish the memory of our Wife, Mom, Nanny, Sister and Aunt as a women who always put her family first. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow and private entombment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shepherds' Trust or Canadian Diabetes Association.
