Obituary for Charles Sammut

SAMMUT, Charles -
Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 12, 2018. Charles (Charlie) Sammut, beloved husband of Pauline (Bonello) of 66 years. Loving Dad to George, Catherine (Tom), Lou Ann (Aly) and Charline (Dan). Treasured Nanu to Marcy, Theresa, Jennifer, Andrew, Adam & Amanda and Great-Nanu to Lorelei and Victoria. He will be missed by brothers, Joseph of Toronto and Deo of Qormi, Malta. Owner /Operator of Charles Sammut Ltd. on Rogers Road from 1957 until his retirement in 2012. Special thanks to Dr Bruni, and all of the wonderful caregivers who made Charlie's home the best place to be. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral in the chapel on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences at newediukfuneralhome.com
