The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Joseph Flynn can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Irene (Vautour) Eddy
Condolence: To aunt Betty and family, so sorry to hear of uncle William’s passing. I was just thinking of him recently, because he would always send my mom (Bertha) a Christmas card in the mail. She would always looked forward to his call before her passing.

Sincere condolences from Irene (Vautour) Eddy and Family

Condolence From: JULIA SQUIRE
Condolence: Uncle Bill had a great smile and laugh and when I think of him I immediately think of hockey and fishing, both passions that he shared with my own father. I fondly remember winter visits to Toronto with hockey played on the rink that Uncle Bill made on the back deck and many summer visits in Bayfield. I think of Uncle Bill and my dad fishing together and how much they enjoyed being outside, no matter the weather, fishing for trout or whatever was in season in the area and for Uncle Bill this often meant Rice Lake. These wonderful moments have left us with some great memories of what a special person he was and he will be greatly missed.

Condolence From: Clark Family
Condolence: As we sat together, with our brother, last weekend......to comfort, to be strong for, to share a tear with....we will ever more be there for you and your family. It is a part of our journey that we all must endure. However, the path your father had taken, where one has touched so many other's lives in a positive light, can only be a mentoring example to all, of how to take life to the fullest and leave wonderful memories. It is now my turn to stand with you, as you did for me. Your father's values live on. “Grief never ends… But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith… It is the price of love.”
