The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert McGrath can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Andy Byford, CEO TTC
Condolence: Rob was a fantastic colleague and a true customer service star. He is already greatly missed by co-workers and customers alike and I am proud to have known and worked with him. Rest in peace, Rob; it's people like you that have got our TTC back to number 1 in North America. Andy

Condolence From: Stephanie and Maggie
Condolence: My co-worker Maggie and I did not know Rob for very long. We met him at Sherbourne Station (where Maggie and I work) last year in September 2016. He was here until he got transferred in January 2017.
The impression that he left on us will be everlasting.

We did see him a few times after that, either at STC Station or if he popped in to say to to everyone at Sherbourne.

Such a warm, caring, outgoing person will always be remembered fondly.

A great memory that we have of Rob, is when he went shopping for a Birthday gift for Kathy. He came in and showed us a pair of boots that he had purchased.
He asked our opinion and if we thought that she would like them.

Condolences are sent to Kathy, all of Rob's family (including his furry, four legged ones) and friends.

Maggie and Stephanie

Condolence From: Jennifer, Tony & Noah
Condolence: Tony has known Rob for 14yrs, he had the pleasure of working with him and will miss him deeply. It just won't be the same at Finch station without seeing him there. Rob is a Giant Teddy Bear, biggest heart, loving kind person taken too quick from us but his greatness and loving heart was need for God has a greater plan for him. He will watch over us from above, heaven is luck to have him as an angel. To all of us we were blessed to have him our lives for the short time we did. Let us remember him with smiles and laughs just like him. That laugh, I will really miss and never forget.
Rest in Peace ROB, until we meet again

Condolence From: Sheila Davie
Condolence: Robin and I were friends since I was 13. He was the kindest person, would give the shirt off his back, a great big teddy bear. He was always happy, he protected me, shared laughs with me and hugs with me. I'll never forget his laugh. Our favorite thing to do was watch the video The Song Remains the Same. Rob taught me how to play a bass guitar. So many memories, I can't believe he's gone. May he rest in peace and give strength to his wife and family. Love you always Robin. Sheila

Condolence From: Chris Brunellle
Condolence: Rob was such a class act. We were longtime friends since we were children. It was always a pleasure to see Rob. Always smiling, always positive. It is a shame someone of such great character and generous spirit could be taken from us so young. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. My deepest condolences to Kathy and family.
