LANGLOIS, Mary -
At the age of 90 years. It is with deep sadness we announce her passing at Winbourne Park LTC Ajax, Ontario, on September 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Gregory. Much loved mother of the late Ronald Gregory. Predeceased by her parents, Lila and Wesley Hodgson. Dear sister of the late Jean Kay (Earl) and the late Marjorie Corris (Clarence). Adored aunt of Ron Kennedy (Maureen), Carolyn Kay (Dean), Richard Kay (Nancy), Murray Kay, Marilyn Rosseau (Paul), Shawn Corris (Kelly), Donna Lynn Corris, Julie Ann Steele (Chris) and the late Larry Kennedy. Loving great-aunt to her dear nieces and nephews. Mary will be missed by family, extended family, and a loving circle of friends. Special Grandma and Mom to her chosen family of the heart Lynda, Mike, Jason and Alexey. Remembrance of a good friend, the late Layton Matchett and his dear extended families. During her 27 years as a teacher of Latin, French and English, Mary taught in the communities of Winchester, Bancroft and Hornepayne, Ontario - some students becoming life long friends. Visitation will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by a celebration of Mary’s life at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Durham or charity of choice would be appreciated.
