Mrs Joyce Nedd nee Wray (Miss Joyce), aged 82 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Ontario following a long illness. She was born on March 14, 1934 in New Amsterdam, Guyana, South America. Joyce immigrated to London, England in 1956 with her husband then moved in 1963 with her family to live in Toronto, Canada.

Joyce loved nursing and fulfilled her career ambition when she qualified as a Registered Practical Nurse. She specialized in the Care of the Elderly and practiced nursing in Canada, including the Victorian Order of Nurses of Canada. as well as working in England until her retirement.

Mrs Nedd was very committed to her Christian faith and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Dundas Street West, Toronto. She enjoyed traveling in her retirement years and attended a number of Mission Conferences and Conventions. She also enjoyed writing and journaled many of her experiences over the years.

Our Mother Joyce will be missed dearly by her family and leaves to cherish her memory her five children, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her two sisters and one brother, as well as her extended family of nieces, nephews and many friends. May she rest in peace.
